Greetings and thank you for your interest in my work. I am R. Scott DePOFI and I Call Endicott, New York U.S.A. headquarters for the Clearly Unique Art Studios. A town nestled at the foothills of the the Appalachian and Catskill mountains on the banks of the Susquehanna river.

I  create my original and unique freehand Intaglio (Internal) carvings from the unforgiving medium of clear acrylic. I am an American artist  whose family is from POFI , Italy a region known for its art and artists. Being an avid outdoors man and naturalist I draw inspiration from my travels,adventures, experiences and encounters in the wild to create and bring to you my one of a kind Intaglio art carvings. I first by hand sculpt the acrylic from its raw form employing cutting, sanding and polishing which transforms it into various shapes and sizes. Then utilizing rotary drills and techniques I have developed, carve in reverse, images into the sculpture thus creating a wonderful three dimensional original art work. By combining permanent pigments I create my own vibrant colors and tones, then carefully color many of my works.
